About Me
I currently work for a major health charity in Canada doing something I believe in - ensuring the scientific integrity of the work done by the organization. This involves understanding the science - usually epidemiology - of a wide range of issues and translating that knowledge to our advocacy, promotion, awareness and fundraising campaigns. I think knowledge translation/integration and risk communication are key components of what we do.
I received my Masters in Public Health (MPH) with the University of Waterloo in 2013. Through my MPH, I am developed several of the core competencies of public health, which I hope to apply to a long career in global or community health.
